"Making proper coffee is really hard"

"I don't have time in the mornings"

"But I don't know how!"

These are all reasons people give for drinking instant coffee. Well it's time to call bulls@!t on that.

The AeroPress is quick, convenient and virtually idiot-proof.

It consistently delivers exceptionally smooth coffee, maximizing the flavour of your coffee. Invented by a Stanford University engineering instructor, it is pretty clever indeed.

Coffee is steeped for 10-30 seconds and then forced through a paper filter straight into your cup. Immersing the coffee in water means full flavour is extracted. The pressure generated by the plunger shortens the filtering time, avoiding bitterness. This method results in coffee which is much less acidic than using a filter machine.

Recommended grind: Medium

FAQs

Q: How do I clean it?
A: Pop the used coffee into the bin and rinse under the tap. It is dishwasher safe. Store with the plunger inserted.

Q: How much coffee should I use?
A: Start with one scoop (15g) and add more if you need a stronger brew.
